Warehousing and Distribution
Warehousing as one of our logistical services is performed in different locations. Our strength is evenly distributed warehouses over the territory, concentrated in big logistical hubs specialized for particular types of goods, such as dangerous goods, foodstuffs subject to temperature regimes (the HACCP system established in the cold store in Maribor and Celje, and in conditioned warehouses in Dravograd, Ljubljana and Celje), and other goods under domestic, customs or excise goods status.
The conventional storage of goods, occupying the space and time, is gradually being replaced by the complex logistics to manage the goods under way from the Manufacture to the buyer. The recent changes in the logistical market between the supplier and buyer call for new services with technological support and information service. We provide for computer-aided tracking and tracing of goods, and the link allows for a full control over the location and status of your goods. Our clients can entrust us the following additional services: commissioned order processing (picking), re-filling of dangerous chemicals, assembling, packaging, distribution, completion, labelling, destroying, stowing, and similar operations on the goods.
Warehouses are growing more sophisticated to run and involve technology and information support. It is in our interest to perform more complex work in our warehouses, as a support to other services with higher added value. To achieve this, we are introducing special tracking systems to trace the goods and transport units and control over the work in warehouses. |
